Jonathan Pope is an Emmy-nominated Cinematographer who has lensed work distributed and showcased around the world.
His recent projects include the horror-thriller, Initiation (Lionsgate|Saban Films, 2020 SXSW Film Festival), the LGBTQ documentary, The Sound of Identity (Starz|Shout! Studios), and The Social Dilemma (Netflix|Exposure Labs, 2020 Sundance Film Festival), the Emmy winning and BAFTA nominated documentary-narrative from Director Jeff Orlowski.
Jonathan earned his MFA in Film & Television Production from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Filmmaking from Georgia Southern University.
While at USC, Jonathan was the recipient of the 2011 Charles Lang Endowed Scholarship for Cinematography, the 2012 Thomas B. Bush Memorial Scholarship for Cinematography, USC's nominee for the 2012 Kodak Cinematography Scholarship, and the USC submission to the 2013 ASC Heritage Award.
Jonathan was raised in Atlanta and is currently based in Los Angeles.
